Welcome to the Foam Improvement design page. Click here for a partial list of our clients. Most of our clients have used one (or a combination) of the layouts below. We have created these five popular beam layouts to assist you in choosing a layout that will work for your project. The general rule of thumb is beams are spaced between four and six feet on center and that rule varies based on the size of the beams chosen. *Please be very sure to double check the layout of your project for potential spacing problems which include the following: Window and door clearance, heater vents, stereo speaker placement, electrical fixture placement, sprinkler head placement and cabinet clearance to the ceiling.* You will need to plan for the spacing of your layout well in advance of ordering the materials. Most problems can be overcome by adjusting the beam spacing accordingly.
